From the Apollinaris Church, this guided tour follows the path of the Americans on 7 March 1945 through Remagen to Remagen Bridge. Illustrated chronologically and with historical photos, the events that led to the capture of the undestroyed bridge by Karl-Heinz Timmermann's company and the first crossing of the Rhine, bringing the end of World War II within reach, are presented.
