To mark the 20th anniversary of the Rhine path on the right bank of the Rhine, the tourist information office is offering a trip to the wine festival in Linz, the colourful town on the Rhine, on Saturday, 13.09.2025. Hikers have the opportunity to experience Bad Breisig from the ‘other bank’. Similar to the Rheinburgenweg, the Rheinsteig also runs over the peaks of the mountains to spoil hikers with breathtaking views. The hike is around 12 kilometres long and involves a number of ascents and descents. From Linz, you can take the train back to Bad Hönningen. Meeting point is the car park at the Rhine ferry 13.09.2025 at 10:00 am. The participation fee is €5, €3 with a valid guest card, children are free. Ferry and train costs as well as catering costs are not included.
