Small stage with “Founding Fever” in the Jahnhalle
First play by the theater group of BREISIG.live
Region Rhine-Ahr. “If you have the impression that this life is a theater, then choose a role that really makes you happy.” This statement by William Shakespeare in mind, some theater enthusiasts founded the theater group “Small Stage” in February 2023 under the roof of the cultural association BREISIG.live e.V. Initially, there were 14 eager performers. After exciting months of getting to know each other and playing, the ensemble was finally formed to portray the characters in their first play.
Since then, the members of the “Small Stage” have been meeting one to two times a week under the guidance of theater educator Stephanie Neumann at the “House of Encounters” or on stage in the Jahnhalle in Bad Breisig. Since the beginning of 2024, the group has been specifically working on a suitable play.

What is “Founding Fever” about?
“Founding Fever” is a crime comedy, originally written by Gerhard Osswald, supplemented with a lot of local color from the ensemble members from Bad Breisig, Remagen, and Sinzig themselves.
Content: In a “somewhat different” seminar, a dubious leader and several entrepreneurs, who all want to start their own businesses, create exciting but also highly entertaining excitement. There is a back-and-forth between faith, zeal, and doubt. And the first to start their own business is the valuable suitcase of a seminar participant. A nerve-wracking search begins …

“Founding Fever” is initially scheduled to be performed 2 times in the Jahnhalle. The premiere is on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with another performance on Friday, April 4, 2025. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM.

Tickets are available at the usual ticket sales points from Ticket Regional and Eventim, as well as in the online ticket shop of BREISIG.live (www.breisig.live/events).

Additionally, direct sales points have been set up in the source city at Erdal’s locksmith service (Zehnerstr. 21a) and at the tourist information office.
