St. Victor Catholic Church
53498 Bad Breisig
Attraction in Bad Breisig.
The parish church of St. Viktor has always been the focal point of the Oberbreisig district. It was first mentioned in a document in 1041. The church in its current form was built during the late phase of the Rhineland Romanticism, between 1220 and 1240. Most of the furnishings date from the 17th and 18th centuries. On the east wall of the northern aisle, there is an oil painting from the 15th century (St. Barbara, St. Catherine, and St. Dorothea). Additionally, frescoes from the 14th/15th century adorn the church.
