In Friedrichstraße a tower of the medieval city fortification from the 13th century is preserved, which reminds of the Pankgrafenschaft from 1381. The Pankgrafen are an old traditional Berlin association. Their roots go back to the high Middle Ages. Since 1907, the charitable association has maintained close ties with Braubach and the Braubacher Bürgerwehr.
