Klunkhardshof
Klunkshardshof, 65385 Rüdesheim am Rhein
The Klunkhardshof is a monumental, slightly angled, two-story half-timbered building from the first half of the 16th century.
The massive rear wall is the defensive wall of the oldest town fortification. The courtyard was formerly owned by the esteemed Rüdesheim family Klunkhard, from which a former abbot of Eberbach Monastery also originated. Today, this courtyard is one of the most splendid buildings in Old Rüdesheim.
