Welcome to Weingut Philipp in Rüdesheim am Rhein in the beautiful Rheingau region!

Enjoy a family wine-growing atmosphere and quality wines from Riesling, Rivaner or Pinot Noir from all the well-known Rüdesheim vineyards in our idyllic courtyard, where we have been serving our own wine since 1905!

We offer you a delicious variety of typical Rheingau snack specialties made from regional ingredients! Whether for the small appetite, the conscious enjoyment, or the rather strong base to the wine, there is something for every taste!

The cable car that leads to the Niederwalddenkmal is only a two-minute walk away, and Drosselgasse is the street parallel to Steingasse.

The winery

Weingut Philipp has been a family business for over 100 years and is currently run by Herbert Philipp.

Our Riesling wines grow in the well-known Rüdesheim vineyards Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg, Klosterberg and Magdalenenkreuz. The red wine, as well as the Pinot Noir Pinot Blanc, is grown in Berg Roseneck. We attach great importance to environmentally friendly viticulture and produce quality and Prädikat wines up to a Riesling Auslese. Our wines are available in dry, semi-dry or sweet varieties.

The Gutsausschank

Here you can enjoy a good glass of wine in the idyllic Winzerhof under the vines in the middle of the old town. We offer you traditional dishes in a typical Rheingau wine tavern ambience. Weingut Philipp has been serving its own wine since 1905.

Today, quality and Prädikat wines from Riesling and Pinot Noir are available in all three flavors. Sparkling wine, wine, yeast schnapps, a delicious vineyard peach liqueur and non-alcoholic drinks round off the range.
